Job Description:
We’re seeking an experienced systems administrator & servers’ specialist who’s eager to further develop technological skills on a worldwide stage. This person will protect our critical systems and assets, build solutions, implement new software, provide server infrastructure support, provide training, assist in developing the overall IT strategy, Configure and manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Email Exchange and group policies.
Building, upgrade, troubleshooting and administering of servers, SAN storage, LANDESK, Secure File service and Linux platform machine. The ideal candidate is passionate about applying skills and expertise to a technology-based business model that creates real-world solutions for the global marketplace.
Responsibilities:
· Perform server administration tasks (ex: user/group, security permissions, group policies, print services); research event-log warnings and errors; and monitor resources to ensure that systems architecture components work together seamlessly.
· Maintain internal infrastructure requirements, including laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates, support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments.
· Secure system integrity from any breaches or viruses and play an essential role in risk-mitigation planning, including creating backup plans, safeguards for data, user security policies, and identity management.
· Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, networking, and system issues when they arise.
· ITIL Foundation v3/v4 and MCSE preferred.
Ability to manage, upgrade, configure and setup VMware ESX 5.5 and the latest version.
Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP
Required skills and qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in information technology/Computer Science/Computing or related studies.
· 5 to 8 years of relevant working experience. Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems, current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, systems performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and caching.
· Expert at using Docker to implement requirements.
· Using Jira project management tool.
· High experience in using the concept of object-oriented programming (OOD).
· Communication skills, collaboration skills, organizational skills, and time management.
· Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
