With the launch of our residential home building company, Seymour Pacific Homes, we are looking for a General Manager to lead the development, building and sales of quality homes from our office in Campbell River, BC. In a fast-paced, hard driving, results-oriented culture, the ideal candidate is motivated by new challenges and eager to lead the growth of this new line of business, promoting high quality customer satisfaction. Reporting to the CEO, this senior leadership role will test the successful candidate’s ability o cultivate strong collaborative working relationships that lead to business success.
Your contributions to the team:
- Develop and implement new business strategies for creating or improving processes and procedures to improve performance
- Create and execute operational plans driven by sales targets and other KPIs
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the construction, handover, and warranty processes for effective sales of properties
- Develop and execute operating plans that align with the overall business goals
- Oversee major operational initiatives identified by senior leadership
What you need to be successful:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in an operational management role
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in residential construction
- Background in residential sales
- Proven experience in business growth planning
- Solid understanding of new home warranty programs
